DES 221: Theory and Issues in Design

This paper is a study of E.F. Schumacher, an economist who was deeply concerned about capitalism and its need for infinite growth in a finite world.

CRD 241: Economics of Community Development

This paper is a deep dive into the economic history of one small town in California: Emeryville. Beginning with the Ohlone tribe and running all the way to the Tech boom, the paper analyzes how economics made this town what it is today.
